Grace is a Gift by Russ Clodfelter

Hello again dear Brothers and Sisters , my message today speaks to the Grace offered to us through the blood shed by Jesus Christ. The Grace of God is one of the most powerful and profound facts in all of Christianity. It is the Unmerited and undeserved forgiveness of sin, freely given to each of us that believe in Jesus Christ, and it is something that we could never earn or deserve on our own. Many people mistakenly believe that they can earn God's grace by doing good works, being a good person, or by following religious rules and rituals. However, this is not what the Bible teaches. In fact, the Bible is very clear that we cannot earn God's grace by our own efforts. As Ephesians 2 8 & 9 tells us, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. So Grace is only possible by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, As Romans 5 8 says, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us, And As John 1, 12 says, "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." So, what does this mean for us as Christians? It means that we should not be focused on trying to earn God's grace through our own efforts. Instead, we should focus on receiving His grace by faith and living a life that is pleasing to Him. We all are human, we all will sin from day to day, we desperately need Grace. As we go about our daily lives, let us remember that grace is not something that we can earn or deserve. It is a free gift that God gives to us out of His great love for us. Let us receive it with open hearts and live our lives in a way that reflects the grace that has been shown to us. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. So Reach out to others in love and instantly be transformed into the hands and feet of Christ, thank you, and God bless you.
